Expanding the Player Development Pathway for Area Players

In 2021 NLSA and HVSA Travel announced a collaborative approach to improving the soccer experience and player pathway for Mercer County and surrounding area youth players. This Program began with the Fall 2021 soccer season and has grown significantly since then.

Our PDP teams follow a traditional club soccer format, with two training sessions per week, allowing players to expand their technical and tactical skill set while being taught through a US Soccer Federation-focused training philosophy. The teams will compete in either the EDP Futures or MNJYSA and benefit from a team-specific professional coach. PDP teams will also participate in at least two tournaments per season as well as a Winter league and once-weekly winter training sessions.
